As an Oregon wedding photographer, I’m always in awe of the breathtaking beauty the Oregon Coast offers for couples' sessions. This adventurous couple traveled all the way from Nebraska to Oregon to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, and I had the honor of capturing their love story against the stunning coastal landscapes of Cannon Beach.
A Magical Photoshoot at Ecola State Park
We kicked off their couples session at Ecola State Park, one of the most iconic spots along the Oregon Coast. With lush forests, rugged cliffs, and sweeping ocean views, this location is a dream for any couples photographer in Oregon. If you’re a fan of classic films, you might recognize this spot—it was actually a filming location for The Goonies!
Surrounded by towering evergreens and misty coastal air, these two shared sweet moments, reminiscing about their first year of marriage. Sunset Anniversary Photos at Cannon Beach
For the second half of their Oregon anniversary photography session, we made our way down to the beach, the same one featured in The Goonies. The golden-hour light, soft waves, and dramatic sea stacks made for the most romantic Oregon Coast photos.
